Our loving Father, Grandfather, and Great Grandfather passed away December 19 2016 surrounded by family . Lovingly returning to his sweetheart Gloria , son, and daughter.
He was born on February 19, 1923 in Cleveland Utah to Charlotte Eveline and Joseph Hyrum Otterstrom. He married his devoted sweet heart Gloria Jean Allen on January 28 1945, in Salt Lake City. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple.
Ken retired from Hill Air Force Base.
He was a “rock hound” and a “snowbird”, spending his winters in Quartzsite Arizona and summers in Huntsville Utah and Preston Idaho.
Ken was a great dad and an amazing grandfather, who loved spending time with family . He had an easy and fun personality with a quick wit and smile. He loved to tease anyone he could get a rise out of. He also loved to dance and would go dancing two or three nights a week into his 90’s.
He is survived by sons Allen(Carol), Joe(Becky), Mike, and daughters Ann Petro, Dayna(Steve)Jagger, Peggy (Stan)Ward, and Daughter-in-Law Vickie. 23 Grandchildren, 44 Great Grandchildren and 6 Great, Great Grandchildren with 5 more coming this year. His Brother Jack and Sister Joann Durrant, and his dog Sam.
Preceded in death by his Wife, Son Wylie, Daughter Christine and Son-In-Law Topper.
