Kenneth Leon Powers Sr. , age 67 of Osgood, Indiana, entered this life on June 8, 1947 in Greensburg, Indiana. He was the son of the late Phillip and Audrey Smith Powers. He was a US Army Veteran serving his country from December 16, 1965 to March 10, 1967.
Kenny married Sharon Sue Wilson October 22, 1976 and she still survives at home. He had spent much of his life doing logging.
He also was a member of the AM VETS Post # 3 in Osgood where he has served as commander. His family expressed that he loved the outdoors, especially fishing and camping. Throwing darts was also a pastime favorite. Kenny died at his home Wednesday evening, June 25, 2014 with his family and beloved dog Angel at his side. He will be deeply missed .
