Kenneth Kuehn, 92, of Peru, died at January 12, 2009 at Illinois Valley Community Hospital, Peru.
Mr. Kuehn was born February 16, 1916 in Spring Valley to Herman and Emma (Young) Kuehn. He married Mary Jane Adams on July 11, 1934 in Princeton, IL. He owned Potthoff and Kuehn grocery store for 25 years and then worked for the city of Peru Electric Plant for many years. He was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church, Peru; a charter member of the Peru Rescue Station; the Peru Library board; and a member of St. Johns Masonic Lodge, Peru.
He is survived by 1 son, Allen Kuehn of Peru; 2 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife on October 28, 2003; 1 son, Wayne Kuehn; 1 granddaughter; and 1 sister.
