Kenneth M. Schultz, 88, of Newton, died on Friday, May 6, 2022, at Park Centre in Newton.
Ken, the son of Alfred and Mary (Teller) Schultz, was born on May 25, 1933, in Newton. On August 17, 1958, Ken was united in marriage with Frances “Fran” Halferty in Chariton. He was an electrical contractor and owned Ken’s Electric for over 60 years.
Ken is survived by his children, Lori Gardner of Carlisle and Mark (Desiree) Schultz of Peyton, Colorado; grandchildren, Krysta (Ian) Stenzel, Jordan (Katie) Schultz, Kolburt (Kellie) Schultz, Hannah (Isaac) Wiggers, Kendyll (Chris) Woods, and Micah Schultz; great-grandchildren, Aabrielle, Randy, Zara, Charles, Reagan, Anderson, Jackson, Hudson, McCoy, and Oliver; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Frances Schultz in 2021; sisters, Dorothy Schultz and Margaret Miller; and brothers, Ray Schultz and Robert Schultz.
