Kenneth K. Kerns, 80, resident of Ferndale for 47 years, died at his home February 1, after a two year battle with lung cancer. He was born October 4, 1930 in Paw-Paw, W. Va. He served in the U.S. Air Force, and retired from the Social Security Administration as a Disability Examiner. Kenneth was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church and a believer in Christ. He loved to play tennis and was affectionately nicknamed “Killer Kerns” on the tennis court.
