Kenneth J. Wells, Sr., 87, of Bristol, widower of Agnes (Marcinkoski) Wells, died Wednesday (June 13, 2007) at the Bristol Hospital
He was born July 17, 1919 in Bristol, son of the late Leroy and Elizabeth Wells. A lifelong resident of Bristol, he was employed at Marlin Rockwell for 40 years until his retirement. Mr. Wells was one of the original founders of the Marlin Rockwell Credit Union. He was also an avid fisherman having belonged to the Terryville Fish and Game Club.
He is survived by two sons, Thomas Wells and his wife, Geraldine of Plainville and Donald Wells of Ellington; a daughter, Karen Ross of Bristol; a daughter-in-law, Joan Wells of Burlington; a sister, Alice DeLorenzo of Bristol; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by a son, Kenneth Wells, Jr.
