Kenneth George Griswold, 67, of Bluffs, died Dec. 1, 2012, at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield.
He was born Jan. 21, 1945, in Macomb, the son of Norman and Mary Greer Griswold. He married Mari Tipsword and they later divorced.
He is survived by one son and one daughter, Mike Griswold of Concord, and Kendy Griswold (companion, Cody Williams) of Curran; two granddaughters, Maci Griswold and Ashley Griswold; two sisters, Sheila Gonzalez of Burlington, IA and Connie Bedenbender of Brownsville, TX; and four brothers, Jimmy Griswold of California, Marvin Bedenbender of Burlington, IA, Mike Bedenbender of Burlington, IA, and Norman Griswold of Missouri.
He was preceded in death by a son, Norman Griswold; grandson, Maddox Stephens; and one sister.
Mr. Griswold was a member of the Teamsters Union and Operator’s Local #965 and had worked for Freesen Inc. in Bluffs for over 25 years. He was a highly decorated Marine Vietnam Veteran. He loved his hot rod truck, tinkering in his garage, and attending car shows.
