On July 29, 2018, Kenneth Frederick Meyers, 90, of Glen Burnie, passed away at Crofton Convalescent Center. Kenneth was born on September 5, 1927, in Baltimore, Maryland, to the late Cleta and Frederick Meyers. He served his country proudly in the U.S. Army as a Tech-4 and then went on to work at E.I Dupont as an automotive paint salesmen for 42 years. He was a member of the VFW, American Legion, Moose, and Elks, and he enjoyed crabbing and hunting. In his younger years, Kenneth played semi-pro baseball and then was very involved in his sons’ youth sports in Glen Burnie.
Kenneth was predeceased by his devoted wife of 61 years, Mary Juanita Meyers, his sister, Gloria Robertson, and his daughter-in-law, Marlene Meyers. He is survived by his beloved sons, Dennis Meyers and his wife Judy, Gary Meyers, and Donald Meyers and his wife Bonnie; his cherished grandchildren, Steven, Noyl, Sarah, Michael, and John; his loving great-grandchildren, Madison, Owen, and Khloe; his dear siblings, Welford “Pal” Meyers and his wife Darlene, and Shirley Pumphrey; and many nieces and nephews.
