Kenneth F. Simpson, 88, of West Haven passed away Tuesday May 10, 2011 at the Hospital of St. Raphael’s. Husband of the late Ann Petrazulo Simpson. He was born in New Haven August 11, 1922, son of the late Viola and William Simpson and has been a West Haven resident since 1955. He is survived by his daughter Sharon Simpson Richards, his son in law Martin Richards and two grandsons James and Kenneth Richards. Brother of the late Charlotte Simpson Fish and Edna Simpson Kulikowski. A veteran of World War II, he served with the 67th Fighter SQ. 347th Fighter GP, 13th Air Force in the Pacific Theater of Operations. He received an honorable discharge as a Staff Sergeant. He worked at AVCO Lycoming/Textron/Allied Signal for 23 years in Quality Assurance Management and was also employed at U.S. Motors, C. Cowles, Fluids Control, Butkin, Laceys, Vought Aircraft, NAS. Quonset PT., RI.
