Obituary of Kenneth F. Napierala
NAPIERALA, Kenneth “Ken” F. of Saginaw, MI passed away on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at Covenant HealthCare – Cooper. He was 68 years old. Kenneth Frank Napierala was born on April 2, 1945 at St. Mary’s Hospital to the late Frank R. and Ortelle B. (Coty) Napierala. Ken graduated from St. Mary’s Cathedral in 1963. He served for four years in the United States Navy as a storekeeper on the U.S.S. Berkley. After Ken returned to Saginaw, he earned his data processing certification and spent his working career as a salesperson for Sears and Roebuck Company, retiring in April of 2007. Ken was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church, the American Legion Post #439, and the Brothers of Kosciuszko. He is survived by one brother and one sister: Ronald of Helena, MT and Elaine (Thomas) Newton of St. Joseph, MN; six nephews; four nieces; several great-nieces and great nephews; one aunt, Grace Hamling; and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister- and brother-in-law, Maureen and Raymond Brown.
