Kenneth Neeld, Sr., 102, of Iowa Falls, Iowa, passed away Monday, June 8, 2020, at Nora Springs Care Center, in Nora Springs, Iowa.
Kenneth Elbert Neeld, Sr. was born on December 4, 1917, to Chester Von and Laura Elsie (Williams) Neeld on the family farm north of Nevada, Iowa. He was the oldest of 5 children.
Ken graduated from Fernald High School in 1935 and started a long life of many varied careers. He worked for the railroad for a time. He then moved to McCallsburg where he opened a welding and repair shop.
Kenneth Neeld is survived by his son: Kenneth Neeld of Waseca, MN; two grand daughters: Amanda and Laurel, and one sister Shirley Harper of Daytona, FL.
Kenneth Neeld was preceded in death by his parents: his beloved wife: Marie; three sisters: Virginia Neeld in childhood, Martha Lowell, Norma Buse.
