Kenneth Edward Getz, age 84, of Route 2, Shelby Run Community, Grafton, passed away, Thursday, February 24, 2011 at Rosewood Nursing and Rehab Center of Grafton. He was born in Grafton, May 29, 1926, a son of the late Earl and Grace (Ridenour) Getz. His wife of 56 years, Audrey (Green) Margarett Getz, preceded him in death January 12, 2011. Mr. Getz was a US Army Veteran of WW II having served as a PVT Tech Grade 5, and was in the mounted calvary, and a member of583 Engineer Construction Group in the Asiatic Pacific. He worked as a truck driver, a taxi driver, a coal miner, and also for WV Plastics where he retired.
