Kenneth Edward Albert passed away on February 7, 2018. He was born on Selfridge Air Force Base in Harrison, Michigan to Lawrence H. Albert (Opal), and the late Betty Jean Morris Albert. 

After graduating high school, Ken took off to join the Navy.  During his Navy career he had many adventures and was able to travel to many places.

Kenneth’s proudest life achievement was being father to his two children, Lawrence Harold Albert II and Gabriel Edward Albert.  He enjoyed being a part of his sons’ journey through life, to include ROTC, soccer games, baseball games, and much more.

His hobbies included camping, scuba diving, sporting events, and swimming in the ocean.

Kenneth realized that he needed to further his education, so he tackled getting his Bachelor’s Degree.

He was an active volunteer with the Wounded Warrior Project.  Ken was a volunteer and an alumni member.  He was pursuing the opportunity to be a peer mentor to other warriors.

Kenneth was predeceased in death by his mother, Betty Jean Morris and grandparents, Grandpa Howard and Ester Howard.

Kenneth is survived by his wife, Cheryl Lynn Albert; sons, Lawrence H. II and Gabriel E. Albert; brothers, Larry D. Albert of Traverse, City MI, Gary A. Albert of Bellaire, MI; sister, Krissy Connell of San Francisco, CA, friend, Laura Lynn Higgins of Jacksonville, FL; mother of the children, Kristi Miles Albert of Jacksonville, FL; and father, Lawrence H. Albert (Opal).
