Kenneth E. Stauffer, 88, of Hellertown, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 9, 2011, at Moravian Village of Bethlehem. Kenneth and his wife, Lillian E. (Senn) Stauffer celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary in January. Born in Center Valley, Pa. he was the son of the late Earl and Ruth (Geisinger) Stauffer. He worked for Bethlehem Steel Corporation for 31 years in the Tax Accounting Department. Kenneth was a Navy veteran of World War II, serving 6 years as a flight engineer in PBM squadron in Hawaii and the Panama Canal Zone. Kenneth was a member of Central Moravian Church, Bethlehem where he served as a Sacristan and Trustee. His memberships include the Masonic Fraternity, a 32° Mason for 50 years, a member of Bethlehem Lodge No: 283, and Past Master of Hellertown Lodge #563, a member of the Tall Cedars, Forest No:61, the Lehigh Consistory of Allentown and past member of the Rajah Shrine. He was a volunteer at the Miller Keystone Blood Center for 27 years and for AARP Income Tax Assistance and served on the Board of Directors of Saucon Valley Community Center. Ken was an avid golfer and woodworker. Survivors: His loving wife Lillian; daughter, Velvet S. Fallinger and son-in-law David Fallinger; two granddaughters, Tara Fallinger of Ardmore, Pa and Ashley Fallinger of New York City; a sister Cleora Beck and her husband Stanley of Perkasie, Pa.; a brother-in-law, James Senn of Greenville,S.C.
