Kenny grew up and attended school in Alexandria, NE graduating with the class of 1936. He married Betty J. Fry on May 31, 1947 in Belleville, KS. This marriage was blessed with the birth of three sons. They made their home on a farm east of Hebron. Kenny loved the land and enjoyed farming and raising livestock.
He enjoyed going to auctions, dragging the boys with him, raising horses, and playing cards.
