Kenneth E. Forney, 79, Anderson, passed away January 2, 2010 at Community Hospital, Anderson after a brief illness. He was born March 18, 1930 and resided in Anderson most of his life.
Kenneth retired from Delco Remy Division of General Motors after 33 years of service. He was a member of Mt. Moriah Masonic Lodge #77 F. & A.M.
He is survived by his wife whom he married in 1959, Betty Barnes Forney; children, Penny Jim Ring of Ft. Myers, Florida, Ira Dorothy Forney of Celina, Tennessee and Tim Sherry Forney of Noblesville; siblings, Lula May Godbey, Wilburn Forney, Phillip W. Forney, Virginia Ann Douglas, Freda Lamb and Carolyn Loffer; five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Everett & Lillith Cox Forney and siblings, James Leroy Forney, Betty Young and Bonnie Smith.
