Kenneth D. Hamming of Kalamazoo, MI, died Thursday morning November 7, 2019. Ken was born October 24, 1940 in Kalamazoo, Michigan a son of Peter and Hazel (Payne) Hamming. He had been a lifelong Kalamazoo area resident and was employed with the City of Portage for 30 years, retiring in 2001.
Ken was preceded in death by his parents; a son, John on June 9, 2006; and a brother, Wayne Hamming. On December 10, 1965, he was united in marriage to Joyce R. (Woodhams) Hamming who survives. Also surviving, 2 children, Mary (Kenneth) Laws of Mattawan and Kenneth Hamming of Middleville, MI; 5 grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
