Kenneth D. Hill, 79, of Shiloh, IL, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 11, 2021, at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, IL. Kenneth was born September 18, 1942, in St. Clair, MO to Harry Howard and Mina Irene Hill (nee Colwell). Kenneth served in the US Air Force as a weather forecaster, retiring as a MSgt at Scott AFB. He was a member of the American Legion in Freeburg, an avid woodworker, and he loved to travel with his family. Kenneth will be missed by all who knew him. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents; Harry Howard and Mina Irene Hill (nee Colwell), and his older brother; James “Bud” Hill.
Kenneth is survived by his beloved wife; Cheryl Hill (nee Petersen), two daughters; Stacey (Anthony) Copozzi of Shiloh, IL and Kristina Hill of Shiloh, IL, three siblings; Ann Knight of St. Louis, MO, Kay Hickman of Arlington, TX, and Neil (Rita) Hill of St. Peters, MO, four grandchildren; Monica Burmeister of Mill City, OR, Andrea (Mason) Honchel of San Luis, CO, Maria Copozzi of Shiloh, IL, and Allison Hill of Shiloh, IL, and one great-grandchild; Trinity Honchel of San Luis, CO.
