Kenneth Charles Bradley, 71, of Caldwell, passed away peacefully Thursday, September 1, 2016 of natural causes.
Ken was born June 4, 1945 in San Diego, California to Ed and Virginia Bradley. The family later moved to Indianapolis, Indiana and at the age of 10 moved to Nampa, Idaho. In 1962 he joined the United States Navy and was honorably discharged in 1967.
Ken married Billie Thompson to which Jason was born. They were later divorced.
He worked many years in commercial construction and later long-haul trucking. During this time he suffered a stroke and was forced to retire.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and taking off in their RV to go camping. He loved his sports, especially his Duke Blue Devils, Atlanta Braves and Miami Dolphins. Another favorite pastime was cruising, enjoying the Mee at See Cruises and a special one through the Panama Canal.
Ken was a member of the Caldwell Elk’s Lodge No. 1448 for 16 years.
He will be greatly missed, but is now free of his pain.
Ken is survived by his companion, Marilyn Hultz; a sister, Bonnie Jenkins; a half-brother, Gus Atkinson; and nieces and nephews all from Nampa. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Bruce; and sisters, Sandra and Elaine.
