Falling Waters, WV – Kenneth C. Miller, Jr., 66, of Falling Waters, WV passed away on Monday, August 25, 2014 at his home surrounded by his family. Born, September 25, 1947 in Cumberland, MD he was the son of the late Kenneth C. Miller (KC) and Grace Margaret Spearing. Kenny was of the Brethren Faith. Kenny drove a truck and was leased to Lightning Transportation. He was a proud veteran, having served his country during the Vietnam Conflict, was honorably discharged at the rank of SP4 in 1972. Upon returning home, Kenny found that life had changed. His passion for driving and the draw of space and freedom led him to a career spanning 50 years of trucking. Following in his father’s footsteps, Kenny loved trucks before he could walk, always “helping” his Dad. At the age of 15, he had his first experience driving on the road, bringing his Dad and the rig home. He leaves behind his wife, Joyce, sisters Darlene Lindner of Cumberland, MD and Beverly and her husband Don Howsare of Bedford, PA. Carrying on his legacy are his children; Greg, Josh and Jordan, granddaughters; Amanda and Christine, grandson Logan and great grandchildren Ryleigh and Brycen. Also, a special part of his life were his nephews, Mike and Donnie, all of his brothers and sisters in laws, mother in law, numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and a full complement of great friends and co-workers.
