Kenneth “Mule” Meredith, 65, of Centralia, passed away Monday, July 15, 2019 at Crossroads Community Hospital in Mt. Vernon. He was born October 4, 1953 in Centralia, son of Harry Kenneth Meredith and Ruby Fern (Reynolds) Tucker. He married Debra Parker on October 26, 1972 and she survives in Centralia.
In addition to his wife of 46 years, Debra Meredith of Centralia, he is also survived by his four children: Chrystal Gruen and husband Doug of Centralia, Andy Meredith and Shayne of Centralia, Nicole Graham and husband Roger of Centralia, and Nick Meredith and wife Tracey of Salem; eleven grandchildren: Christine, Angela, Josh, Dakota, Charla, Gavin, Hunter, LeeAnn, Vada, Avalynn, and Blaine; three great-grandchildren: Eli, Earo, and Miles; a brother: Keith Meredith of Centralia; two sisters: Delores Hodge of Centralia and Hazel Osborne of Texas; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents: Harry Meredith and Ruby Tucker, a granddaughter: Montana Gruen, two brothers: Richard Kirgan and Karl Meredith, and a sister: Kathy Meredith.
Kenneth worked at Grand Prairie School as a bus driver and custodian for 20 plus years. He served in the U.S. Army and was station in Germany. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being outdoors. He also enjoyed watching his Western Shows. Most of all his greatest enjoyed was spending time with his family, grandchildren and friends.
