Kenneth C. “K. C.” Lisenbe, November 27, 1941 – May 9, 2015.

Kenneth C. “K. C.” Lisenbe, 73, of Temple. Mr. Lisenbe died Saturday, May 9, 2015 in a Temple Hospital. Mr. Lisenbe was born November 27, 1941, in Belton, the son of George Chapple Lisenbe and Georgie Washington Jones. He married Dolores Jean Tomastik, July 6, 1961 in Cameron.

He worked for the railroad for many years before moving to Odessa in 1971. In Odessa he worked as a salesman for Wagner Supply until retiring in 2000 and moving back to Bell County. Mr. Lisenbe was a former member of the Little River Catfish Association. He was a member of Leon Valley Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his wife Dolores Jean Lisenbe April 5, 2007, one great grandchild, Camden; three brothers Glen Lisenbe, Ebbie Lisenbe and infant brother Jerry Lisenbe; one sister Nell Martin.

Survivors include one daughter Debra Jean Cox and husband Stan of Ft. Worth; three sons Kenneth Rae “Roscoe” Lisenbe and wife Carol of Temple, Billy Lynn Lisenbe and wife Lisa of Odessa, Robert Lee Lisenbe and partner Brent Robison of Temple; two brothers Rae Lisenbe of Belton and Bill Lisenbe of Odessa; three sisters Jorice McMillan of Heidenheimer, Gloria Hess of Little River and Mary Ashby of Little River; nine grandchildren, Joshua, Kendra, Brianna, Heather, Kaleigh, Blake, Sarah, Jeremiah and Tyler; four great grandchildren Briley, Creighton, Ian and Raegan.
