Kenneth Clare Burwell, the son of Clare and Esther L. (Bringelson) Burwell, was born October 28, 1941 at Inavale, Nebraska. He departed this life on October 9, 2022, at the Kearney Regional Medical Center in Kearney, Nebraska at the age of 80 years, 11 months and 11 days.
He was was member of the American Legion and the National Rural Letters Carriers’ Association. In his leisure time, Ken enjoyed collecting guns, shooting prairie dogs and gospel music. Ken will be fondly remembered by family and friends for his quick smile and keen sense of humor.
Preceding him in death were his wife, Janice M. Burwell; his parents, Esther and Clare Burwell; two sisters, Janice Webber and Verlene Stringer, and a brother-in-law, David Stringer.
Surviving are his son, Randy Burwell and wife, Marla, of Minden, Nebraska; daughter, Sheila Wilson and husband, Dwane, of Minden; two grandchildren, Connor and Sydney Wilson; a brother-in-law, Marvin Webber of Inavale, Nebraska; other relatives and friends.
