Kenneth Ludwig Blank, 77, joined the Angels on June 17, 2022, surrounded by his loving children and supporting wife. Kenny’s highest priority and most significant source of happiness was his family.

He is remembered with love by his cherished wife of 47 years Linda, treasured daughters; Jennifer Doria and husband, Jimmy; Heather Joseph and husband Donnie; and Sara Imler, who played a significant role in his final years and who he was proud to call his third daughter. He also loved being a new Grampy to grandson, Dane Doria.

Kenny also leaves behind his sister, Jeanne Haber and nieces Kim Freedman and Jen Tadjedin. He was preceded in death by his parents Ludwig & Catherine Blank.

Kenny was born in New York City and graduated from Great Neck South Senior High School.  He attended Bates College in Maine with a degree in Education in 1965.  His love for travel, and the Spanish language, took him to study abroad at the University of Madrid in 1966.

After moving to South Florida, where he was a resident of Hollywood for over 45 years, Kenny began working for the Miami-Dade County School Board.  He was a proud educator at North Miami Beach Senior High School teaching Spanish where he retired in 2003.

Kenny was enthusiastic about electronics and technology. Introduced to electronic toys when his kids were young, his exploration morphed into repairing everyday household items.  This was followed by a passion for gaming becoming an avid player on Nintendo and Xbox consoles.

His family, friends and colleagues of more than 30 years will forever remember and deeply miss his overwhelming kindness, warm smile, and patient demeanor.

“There are some who bring a light so great to this world that even after they have gone the light remains. We will see you again on the other side of the stars.”
