Kenneth Barlow Barton, 67, passed away peacefully at his home December 31, 2021 after a brief illness.  Ken was born on November 3, 1954 to Dale Jessop Barton and Wanda Barlow in Ogden, UT.  He grew up in Sunset and graduated from Clearfield High and Weber State.  He served an LDS mission in Guatemala City, Guatemala.

He married Gayla Parker April 3, 1980 in the Ogden Temple.  They settled in Clinton and welcomed two children to their family.

He worked at the IRS for 21 years, retiring in 2007.  After retirement, he enjoyed tending his grandchildren.

Ken was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.  He served willingly and is remembered as a Gospel Doctrine Teacher and a dedicated Home Teacher.

He enjoyed building model cars, especially Fords, reading, guitars, Diet Dr. Pepper, and collecting and restoring Barbies.  He loved spending time at the family cabin with loved ones and friends.

He is survived by his wife; children Elizabeth Barton and Dale (Brianna) Barton; 4 grandchildren; his sister Susan Barton and his dog Copper.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Chris.
