Kenneth Boren Moore of Burlington City, age 82, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 3, 2007 at Virtua Hospital, Mt. Holly, NJ. He was surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Moore was born in Laverne, Oklahoma on February 4, 1924 to parents Clarence and Robo Moore.

He was pre-deceased by four sisters and three brothers. Mr. Moore served his county in WWII as a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps. He was a sharpshooter, swimming instructor and selected member of the USMC baseball team. Prior to his retirement, Mr. Moore was employed by Hercules Chemical Company in Burlington Township and Johnson & Johnson Research Company in New Brunswick. Mr. Moore was an avid sports fan and enjoyed gardening, fishing, playing horseshoes, and listening to country music.

A devout Christian, Mr. Moore read his Bible daily and instilled those beliefs in his family. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Kenneth Moore is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Frances M. (Nee: Sullivan), daughters Darlene F. MacCrindle and Lorraine E. Marinelli both of Westampton, NJ, grandchildren Kelly Fletcher and her husband William of Mount Laurel, NJ, W. Bryan Wilson of Westampton, NJ, Craig Wilson and his wife Melissa of Howell Twp., NJ, and great-grandchildren Chase Fletcher, and twins Brandon and Ryan Fletcher. He is also survived by his sister-in-law Ellen Jane Tete and her husband Oscar, sister-in-law Isabel Whiteside, all of Burlington, and many nieces and nephews.
