Kenneth Alan Iverson, Jr., 28, was born at Rose Medical Center in Denver, CO. He grew up in Centennial, CO with a very brief stint in Woodland Park at an early age. Kenneth graduated from Eaglecrest High School in 2011. At one time, he was the youngest student to go through the CAD program and become certified. After graduation he attended some classes at Metropolitan State in Denver and the Community College of Aurora.
Kenneth (Kenny, Ken) worked in the fast food industry, the solar energy field, and did warehouse work. His favorite type of work was as a delivery driver- whether it was delivering pizzas or furniture, he enjoyed the drive and he loved the people.
Ken enjoyed long distance running, lifting weights, and ultimate frisbee. He ran like the wind and had the nick name, The Red Flash. He liked anime, manga, playing video games, and shooting pool. His taste in music was diverse, from Christian rock, to Ska, to metal, to classic rock, and pop, and more. He was an avid fan of the Colorado Avalanche, Rockies, and the Denver Broncos.
Kenny’s heart was huge. He loved his June Bug (cat) and his Rottie BO. He had a compassionate spot for animals and the hurting. He brightened up every room he entered, treated all he met with kindness, and respected other’s diversities.
Ken’s smile went on for days and it was infectious. He had quirky personality traits that made him remembered and embraced by those who crossed his path. His uniqueness was as special as the color or his hair, strawberry blonde.
Kenny is survived by his mom, Karri Lopez (Tony), his brother Kellen Iverson and his maternal Papa, Donald Oshel, his bonus grandma, Lorraine Romero, bonus brother Micheal Lopez (Saranda), and bonus sister Alyssa Johnson (Kang). He is survived
by his brother by another mother, Aaron Singer, aunts Ilse, Liz, Julia, and Kim, uncles Steve, Erik, Daniel, Jay, and John, numerous great aunts and uncles, and cousins.
Those seeing Jesus’ face to face before Kenneth are his dad, Kenneth Iverson, his Oma, Gerda Oshel, and his Nana, Stephanie Himes.
