Kenneth Alan Robinson, 82, of Bedford, passed away on Thursday July 19, 2018 at the IU Health Bloomington Hospital Hospice House surrounded by his family.
Kenny was born October 12, 1935 in Indianapolis, Indiana and was the son of the late John Wesley and Marjorie Robinson.
Kenny graduated from University High School and retired from Indiana University where he was an Electrician. He was Foreman of the Electric Shop.
Kenny loved his family and was a member of Westside Assembly of God Church, he enjoyed sports, especially Indiana University Basketball and Football along with the Colts and NASCAR. He was a craftsman and loved woodworking, gardening, and antiquing with his wife.
Survivors include 3 daughters; Kim Nethery (Mark), Shelly Raines (Otto), and Marjorie Annette Robinson (Dog – Chloe), grandchildren, Candace Clark (Andrew), Stephanie Thompson (Derrick), Heather Jordan (Jeff), Bailey Taylor (Tim VanMeter), and Jeremy Raines, 11 great grandchildren and his beloved dog Daisy.
Kenny was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Carolyn S. Robinson (2017), his parents, two brothers; John Robinson and Robert Robinson, and great granddaughter Braylee Clark.
