Kenneth A. Palmer, 59, of Seaside Park, NJ died on Sunday December 13, 2015 at Community Medical Center Toms River, NJ. Born in Kearny, NJ he lived in Glen Ridge, NJ prior to moving to Seaside Park, NJ. Kenny was a graduate of the Connecticut School of Broadcasting and went on to become an on air personality for WJRZ. He owned and operated a landscaping and garden center.
He was a territory manager and exceeded in sales for both Bay Holly Distributer and Dixie Chopper. Kenny was also a bartender serving the Jersey Shore. Surviving are his parents Jack and Iris (Connolly) Palmer of Whiting, NJ; his daughters Lindsay Kohn of Fair Haven, NJ and Clair Harmon of CA; his brothers Robert Palmer and his wife Suzanne of Midland, TX and Scott Palmer and his wife Peggy of Redding, CT; his nephews Zachary, Garrett and Eric; his niece Victoria; his two grandchildren and his loving companion of 18 years Susan “Suz” Smiley.
