Kengi “Ken” Andow, 77, of New Buffalo, Michigan, died Monday, October 30, 2006 at his home.Ken was born September 28, 1929 in Blackfoot, Idaho to Kuniichi and Matsuko Andow. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, stationed in Germany. Ken attended Art School and was employed as a graphic arts presenter for companies in Chicago.
He married Norrie Yamagiwa on October 29, 1952. They made their home in Chicago and spent time at their place in New Buffalo. After retirement, they moved to New Buffalo full time. Ken was an avid tennis player and golfer, often enjoying these sports at the Grand Beach Country Club with his wife. He loved working in his flower gardens, tending his vegetable garden, and his annual trips to Mexico with his wife.Ken is survived by his wife, Norrie. He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and one sister.
