He was born on August 14, 1944. Kendell loved fishing. He loved music, he played the guitar, sang, and played the harmonica in his band. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Henry Stanley and Pauline Barnes Stanley; brothers, Lester Stanley, Boyd Stanley; and a sister, Martha Whitmire. He is survived by his sons, Joe Keith Stanley of Rock Ledge, FL. Rodney Lee Stanley (Shawn) of Ringgold, GA, Gary Allen Stanley (Kris) of Rocky Face, GA; daughters, Sheila Smith of Cleveland, TN, Sherry Montgomery (Ryan) of Cleveland, TN, Stacy Womac (Jason) of Cohutta, GA; brothers, Jack Stanley (Judy) of Dalton, GA, Grady Stanley (Grace) of Dalton, GA; sisters, Eva Young (Donald) of Chatsworth, GA, Teresa Stanley of Rome, GA; 20 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
