MILTON- Kelvin E. Canady, passed to his new home on Wednesday morning September 30, 2020 with his family holding him.
Kelvin’s son Brian shares, the greatest man in my life short of my Lord Jesus Christ passed away this morning about 6:40am and is experiencing the things I only dream of right now. My dad Kelvin Canady was born during the Great Depression, served his country as a United States Marine in Korean War, and loved one woman, Barbara Canady, his whole life. He turned 85 on August 11th and was married to mom 63 years on September 1st. He made sure our family was always prepared for life, protected and cared for. He made men out of my little brother and me and he made his pride in us very known. Dad and mom worked side by side their whole lives and never spent a day apart. Everyone should be so blessed to have such love and commitment. A very heart felt thanks to our friends, family, neighbors, community and to Reid Healthcare and Reid Hospice for their incredible love and support. God is good, rest easy now daddy, you always said “ don’t be scared, climb on up and give it a twist” old bikers never die, ride free daddy. I love you more than anything. I will see you in Glory some day.
