Those left to honor Kelly’s memory are her husband, Patrick of Monroe; two sons, David M. Knowles of Iowa City, Iowa, and Jordan P. Knowles of Monroe; her parents, Don and Karen Martinache of Monroe; two brothers, Jim (Karla) Martinache of Monroe, and Chad (Jennifer) Martinache of Knoxville; two sisters, Cindy (Ron) Tangeman of Monroe, and Wendy Battles of Newton; her paternal grandparents, Earl and Lou Martinache; and five nieces, two nephews, a great-niece, and two great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Chester and Jessie Mattice; paternal grandmother, Hilda Martinache; and uncle, Richard “Dick” Martinache.
Kelly was a 1979 graduate of Monroe High School in Monroe, Iowa. She was a homemaker.
