Kelly Lynn Johnson, 35, of Monmouth, died at 2:45 a.m. Friday, November 2, 2018 at the home of her father Bruce in East Galesburg.
Kelly was born October 31, 1983 the daughter of Bruce DeWayne and Deborah (Allen) Johnson. Kelly is survived by one daughter, Emma Racke East Galesburg; her father and step mother, Bruce (Sue) Johnson of East Galesburg; her mother, Deborah Johnson of Galesburg; one brother, Todd Johnson of Oneida; and two sisters, Sarah Johnson and Rebecca Johnson of Galesburg. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, David and Barbara Allen and paternal grandparents Anne DeWayne Johnson.
Kelly worked at St. Mary’s Square Living Center for several years and was last working at the AmericInn in Monmouth. She enjoyed volunteering with Special Olympics and had participated in the Polar Plunge to help raise money. Kelly had coached t-ball and softball and played softball. Kelly loved all things zombie and acted in a local zombie movie production. She had attended Wataga Congregational Church.
