MUNCIE- Kelly H. Spurlock, 91, of Muncie passed away Monday evening, September 17, 2012 at I.U.
May 17, 1921 in Flemingsburg, Kentucky to George N. and Lula Spurlock.
Kelly attended school in Kentucky. He was employed as a shipping clerk for Broderick Corp. for 34 years. Kelly proudly served in the United States Army during WWII and received a Purple Heart.
Survivors include three daughters Donna J. Mongold (husband-Gerry); Mitchell,
Marilyn J. King (husband-Mike); Spring Hill, Tennessee, Debra K. Clements (husband-Kent); Selma, a brother Clifford Spurlock; Monroe, North Carolina, three sisters
Mae Spurlock; Muncie, Pauline Stone; Muncie, Sara Spurlock; Hillsboro, Kentucky
five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Kelly was preceded in death by his loving wife of 58 years Elsie (Harris) Spurlock, his parents, six brothers and one sister.
