Kelly Warren, 68, passed away peacefully on February 11, 2022, at his home with his dog, Halo, and his companion, Marion, by his side.

He was born on October 27, 1953, in Ogden, Utah, to Keith and Ella Warren. He had 7 siblings, and growing up on a farm, he learned to work hard. He attended schools in Brigham City, Utah, and graduated from Box Elder High School.

Kelly worked for a tire company, Fife Rock Co. a sand and gravel company, drove a semi-truck, and worked for a cheese factory. He enjoyed doing mechanic work on the side which he was very passionate about. He was also an amazing craftsman.

He met Karla McRoberts, they married in 1973 and lived in Richfield, Idaho, until they moved to Utah. They welcomed four children into their loving home: Karla (Rob) Rogers, Michael (Samantha) Warren, Betty (Patrick) Jones, Jennifer (Brian) White; 16 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. Kelly and Karla’s marriage ended in 1991, but they remained friends until she passed away.

Kelly loved to take his family for long rides, but his kids’ favorite memory were the times they went out on the snowmobile.

Later he married Betty Maxwell who lived in Brigham City with her two daughters: Stacey Burris and Trisha Veals. They were together over 20 years before she passed away. They had 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Kelly was a man of few words, he expressed what he wanted to say through his devotion of music. He enjoyed singing tunes with his guitar for the Brigham City Senior Center, Mantua Days, and in the local area.

While performing at the senior center, he met Marion Perry and the two of them hit it off right away. She became his biggest fan. Seven years was too fast and too short.

Kelly loved to camp, take car rides, eat out, visit friends and family, ride his ATV, stop at pawn shops, but most of all he loved playing his guitar and singing and spending time with his dog, Halo.
