A daughter of Larry M. and Pam (Turney) McKee, Kelly was born in Connersville, Indiana on July 8, 1970. A lifelong resident of Cambridge City, Kelly graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1988. She enjoyed music and was active in the high school choir and also played the piano.
