Keith Anthony Schimmel, 49, Evansville, died unexpectedly at home on September 13, 2007, after a sudden illness.
He was born April 26, 1958, in Mt. Clemens, Michigan, and was raised in Anderson. He graduated from Pendleton Heights High School in 1976 and had a B.A. from Indiana University. He has lived in Evansville for the last seventeen years. He was a U.S. Postal letter carrier for twenty-two years starting in 1985 in Anderson. He was a member of the National Association of Letter Carriers.
He is survived by his mother Genevieve and husband Stephen Kata of Anderson. Two sisters; Linda Gary Wechsler of Pendleton and Dawn Shreves of Markleville. A step-brother Eddie Carrie Cox of Kokomo. Also surviving are nieces & nephews along with his special friends Jeff Morehead & John Wilson.
He was preceded in death by his father Harold Schimmel.
