Keith Lyle Harris died peacefully June 26, 2011 with his family at his side.
Keith was born July 11, 1942 in Caldwell, Idaho to Chester Lyle and Melba Alice (Ward) Harris. Shortly after his birth his parents moved to Utah where Keith started school. His family returned to Idaho where he graduated from Caldwell High School in 1960. He attended college at Utah State in Logan.
Keith married Charlotte Dawn Myers in the Logan, Utah LDS Temple on March 20, 1964. They lived in Caldwell where they raised seven children together and celebrated their 47th wedding anniversary this spring.
Keith worked for the J.R.
While in his youth Keith was very active in Boy Scouts and enjoyed the outdoors and especially playing softball. It was also in his youth, that while working with his father, he discovered his love and aptitude of working with his hands and fixing all things mechanical. Keith’s favorite hobby was shooting and reloading. He enjoyed sharing that hobby with all of his family.
Keith truly loved his family and enjoyed playing with his grandchildren. His biggest priority in life was seeing to the welfare of his children and extended family and making sure everyone had a strong foundation.
Keith was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Norma Flannery.
