Keith passed away Monday afternoon, November 23, 2015, with his son Randy by his side. He lived independently until the end while battling cancer and heart disease. Keith enjoyed his many friends at the Affinity apartment complex the last couple of years. He was loved by everyone that knew him, he never complained, and was always ready to give a helping hand.
Keith was born March 11, 1931, in Preston, Idaho, to Holly Eugene and Fanny Early Hone. He was the last to survive of his siblings: Bill (1925-2007), Doris Leatham (1929-2007), Jerry (1933-1984), Cleon (1936-2012), Larry (1940-2015). Keith was preceded in death by his wife, Connie Law Hone (1937-2011); his son, Steven (1957-2011); his son, Brad (1959-1995) and grandson, Brian (1987-2015). Keith is survived by his son, Randal (Diana) of Boise; 6 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Keith’s father was a mechanic and owned the Dodge dealership in Preston. Growing up around cars, Keith also became a good mechanic and loved his cars.
Keith and Connie liked to travel. Mexico, Hawaii, and Nevada were some of their favorite destinations along with St. Petersburg, Russia. They liked to golf, bowl, snowmobile and make bets with each other on their favorite teams as they watched football.
