Keith Allen Guthrie, age 64, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Monday, September 21, 2020 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on June 1, 1956 in Murphy, North Carolina to the late Frank Guthrie and Deloris Dyer Guthrie. Along with his father, he was also preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Allen Dyer, and Rev. Larry Guthrie. Keith was a 47year member of Harmony Grove Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon and Sunday School teacher. Keith is survived by his wife, Patricia Dyer Guthrie of the residence, son and daughter-in-law, E-7 ABHC Michael (Jessica) Guthrie of Spring City, Tennessee; daughter, E-5 IS2 Michelle Guthrie Mitchell of Lake Havasu, Arizona; grandchildren, Brennan and Tatum of Arizona and Kahlin and Gannon of Tennessee; mother, Deloris Guthrie of Murphy, North Carolina; brothers Mike (Lois) Guthrie of Chatsworth, Georgia and Steve (Kim) Guthrie of Ellijay, Georgia; sister, Susan Stewart of Murphy, North Carolina; his special Dalton family, Wilma Guthrie, Shannon (Chris) Stanley, and Sherrie Guthrie Dean; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
