Kayla Marie (Walkden) Berry, 26, of Franklin passed away Wednesday December 9, 2015 in Bloomington.
She was born June 20, 1989 to Donald and Becki (Wiley) Phillips in Freemont, CA. She was a manager at Roscoe’s Tacos in Franklin. Kayla was a graduate of Franklin Community High School, where she was the captain of the color guard for four years and a member of the winter guard for 4 years. She was a member of the color guard at Ball State University. She loved laughter, her nephew, One Direction, making gifts, making others smile, meeting new people, owls, color guard, her pets, road trips, concerts and video games.
She is survived by her husband Dylan Wallace Berry, father; Donald “Donnie” Phillips, sister; Cierra Nicole Wiley (Josh Ford), nephew; Jaice Denzil Ford, cousins; Adam (Brooke) Wiley, Anthony Wiley and Eddie Wiley, uncle, Gary Wiley, best friends, Samantha Rector, Shelby May, Kelsey Russell and Bev and the Brownfield family, all of Franklin. Her pets, Mila and Olive Berry.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Becki Jo Phillips, grandmother; Kitty Kangas and Mickey the kitty.
