Kay F. Niermann, 71 of Centralia, passed away Monday, September 1, 2014 at Relais Bonne Eau Hospice Home in Edwardsville. She was born April 26, 1943 in Centralia, daughter of Wilbert Karmeier and Ida (Harre) Karmeier. She married Kenneth Niermann on June 9, 1962 in Covington and he preceded her in death on December 24, 1996.
Kay is survived a daughter, Tonya Kincheloe and husband Rick of Columbia; 3 grandchildren: Cameron, Conner and Colby; a son, Jeffrey Niermann and wife Beverly of Plymouth, Michigan; 2 grandchildren Annelise and Gerard; two brothers: Lloyd Karmeier and wife Mary of Nashville and Delbert Karmeier and wife Naomi of Kansas City, MO; two sisters: Dolores Hill and husband Gale of Chesterfield, MO and Shirley Fiedler of Pagosa Springs, Colorado; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother-in-law, Robert Fiedler. Kay worked at Centralia High School for 28 years. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends.
