Ms. Kay Lee Baker, 48 transitioned to her heavenly home on Sunday following an extended illness.
Kay was born on November 18, 1965 to John H. Baker and Ola Wilson Baker in Dillon, South Carolina. Coming from Grand Rapids, Michigan she was a resident of Winston-Salem for three years. She was a former employee of the Winston-Salem Housing Authority.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Surviving relatives include two sons, Michael A. Baker and Corey C. Baker both of Winston-Salem; one daughter, Erica K. Baker of High Point; granddaughter, Zy-Asia Huell;three brothers, Henry L. Baker, Johnnie D. Baker both of High Point, and Samuel L. Baker of Charlotte, NC; two sisters, Rosa Mae Baker and Geneva Baker both of High Point; two nephews, Tony and John Baker; one niece, Johneisha Strickland; a host of other relatives and friends.
