Kay Metters, 80, of Brigham City, passed away on May 15, 2019 in Ogden, UT from complications due to pneumonia and arthritis. She was born on September 29, 1938, in Tacoma, WA to the late Dorothy and Ray Lambert. Kay attended BYU, Ricks College, and Everett Community College. She married Robert Metters on November 17, 1967 in the Idaho Falls Temple. They had 5 children; Mark, Julie, David, Michael, and Sarah.
Kay was an avid temple worker, reader, baker, genealogy indexer, and sun worshipper.
Kay is survived by her loving husband, Robert; her 5 children; 15 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and her brother Richard Lambert. She is preceded in death by her parents; her sister Linda Lambert; her brother Ronald Darnell; and her grandson, Zackary D. Carlson.
