Kay was born on September 2, 1949, in Huntington, IN, to William and Verna (Casper) Sunderman. Her parents preceded her in death.
Mrs. Homier was a 1967 graduate of Huntington High School. She then graduated from Wayne University of Cosmetology in 1968. She was a beautician for 20 years and then she went into sales.
Kay is survived by two sons, Russell (Kelly) Smith, Michigan, and Ryan (Erica) Smith, Huntington; two daughters, Emily (Gary) Meyer, Huntington, and Elizabeth (Jeremy) Rodrigues, Huntington. She is also survived by one brother, William (Sue) Sunderman, Andrews, IN and 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
