Kay C. Mattingly, age 76, of Noblesville, Indiana passed away on March 27, 2017 at Harbor Manor in Noblesville. She was born on May 1, 1940 in Middletown, Indiana to Bennie J. Spell and Marcella Richardson. Kay formerly worked as a cook at Sanders Glen in Westfield. She also enjoyed cooking for her friends and family and the company of her miniature dachshund “Henry.” She also enjoyed watching mysteries and reading mystery novels.
Kay is survived by her children, Ronnie Waters of Noblesville, Timothy Scott Waters of Anderson, Suzanne (Michael) Gallant of Columbus, IN and Michelle Meyers of Lapel and her companion Dennis Kowalski; step-children Nikki Oliver of KY, Richard (Robin) Fulkrod of Anderson and, Robert (Beth) Fulkrod of KY. Kay’s brothers were Jerry Whitinger of New Castle, IN and, Glen (Becky) Spell of CO. and Joe Spell. Sister Tina (Bob) Provost.
Kay is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; and by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Bennie J. Spell and Marcella Richardson and Margaret Spell; her husband Thomas Mattingly; her brother Joe Spell; sister Paulene Whitinger.
