Kay Brock Beineke, 83, of West Lafayette, passed away Monday, May 2, 2022, at University Place in West Lafayette.
She was born April 26, 1939, in Indianapolis to the late Rex and Leta (Ragsdale) Brock. She was a 1957 graduate of Broad Ripple High School in Indianapolis and continued her education at Hanover College, graduating in 1961, with a degree in education.
On June 25, 1961, she married Walter Beineke in Indianapolis. He survives, along with their 2 children, Linda (John) Meyers, and Sara (Doug Macy) Malone, all of West Lafayette, and 5 grandchildren, Grace Malone of Indianapolis, Eric Malone, Kate Malone, Joshua Meyers, and Jacob Meyers, all of West Lafayette.
Kay worked as a teacher, a secretary and was a proud homemaker. She was a member of the Alpha Delta Pi Sorority in college and the Old Tippecanoe Quilt Guild. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, crafting and playing the piano. Kay was very caring and loving and will be eternally missed, but we know she is in a better place and her suffering is over.
