Ms. Katira L. Preston, 14 of Decatur, Alabama was born April 13, 2007 to the proud parents of Ms. Tasha Robinson and the late Christopher Devon Preston. A lovely, outgoing child Katira was known by family as smart, caring, ambitious and ready for anything. Katira was a member of the JROTC program for Decatur City Schools. She leaves to cherish her memory: her mother; Tasha Robinson of Decatur, Alabama., her three sisters Nayunta Robinson, Zayonik Robinson, and Semajah Robinson, all of Decatur, Alabama grandmother ,Julia Robinson of Huntsville, Alabama, and one niece, Naylashia Robinson of Decatur, Alabama and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins. Ms. Preston transitioned on November 25, 2021 at Children’s Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama. There will be no public viewing.
