Katie Kramer, 90, of Bancroft passed away on December 4, 2016 at the Hawkeye Care Center in Bancroft. Katie Christina Gigler, the daughter of Jacob and Martha (Bergman) Gigler, was born on April 7, 1926 in Titonka, Iowa. On August 21, 1945 Katie was united in marriage with Francis A. Kramer in Algona, Iowa. She enjoyed gardening, flowers and sewing. Left to cherish Katie’s memory are her children, Linda (Bob) Seal of Bean Station, TN and Kenneth Kramer of St. Louis, MO; one grandchild; and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Francis in 1983; a daughter, Kay Keefer in 2011; and a sister, Gertrude Reefer.
